Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is usually a full body massage. The therapist uses massage oil, lotion or gel. It includes long gliding strokes, kneading of the tissue and tapping. It can include stretching to help with range of motion.
Full body massage means feet, legs, back, shoulders, abs, arms and hands, chest, neck, face and head. If you prefer to avoid any areas just let your therapist know before hand.

This is a really relaxing massage and it helps ease tension in your muscles.

Pre Natal Massage

Pre Natal Massage is for expectant moms the entire way through their pregnancy. It is great for back pain, general aches and pains, decreases swelling of limbs and overall very gentle and relaxing. Studies have shown it helps prevent premature birth and less complications during birth.

The therapist will position the client in a comfortable and safe position on the table. We use the side lying position.
* Massage may be contraindicated for high risk pregnancies. Any complications in pregnancy will require a release from your doctor.

Sports Massage

This massage is great for the serious athlete pre and post event.
It is generally a more vigorous massage, and incorporates some swedish massage techniques such as effleurage, petrissage, tapping, compression and friction.

Generally it concentrates on the muscles that are extensively used for the sport. Pre event it helps get the athlete in peak condition and post event it helps deal with any pain and injuries sustained.

Deep Tissue

This deals with the deep muscles that are below the superficial level muscles. Usually it concentrates on specific areas and helps those who are rehabilitating from an injury and those who do very physical work or activities.


This is the use of essential oils during the massage. Each essential oils has different properties.
Lavender and chamomile are great for relaxation. Citrus oils such as sweet orange and lemon are best are more invigorating and help if you are feeling down or depressed. Eucalyptus is great for congestion. Aromatherapy can be used in several ways, sometimes applied with the lotion, but never directly on the skin, or used in a diffuser so that the air is filled with the scent.
Rhonda uses pure, excellent quality essential oils, but they are optional, used only if requested.
